Happy New Year | Drinking Cups to Celebrate

Posted on 31 Dec 2016

I can hardly believe here we are at the end of another wonderfully creative year.
As always we will spend a quiet evening at home with only a few festive touches.
So this year in celebration of the new colour of the year for 2017, and colour in general I made some festive drinking cups in shades of green.
All of 2 cups yes – but festive none the less.

I of course used everything out of my creative stash and opted for my new favourite paint colour – Minted!

step 1 – Dip some plastic cups directly into your pot of paint and make sure you cover the entire bottom of the cups in paint.

step 2 – Leave the paint to dry completely. Add a layer of clear adhesive to the paint dipped area and then sprinkle with green glitter.
Shake off the excess glitter and leave the adhesive to dry.

Decorate the top half of the cups by adhering some clear diamante to the cup.
Fill with your favourite drink and add some colourful draws.

Ring in the new year with a colourful and safe celebration.
From all of us at Chiswick Blog we wish you a Happy and healthy 2017 – filled with loads of colour and creativity!

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
