Nothing beats a beautiful stamped card – and with birthdays and celebrations all year around you can never have too many cards in your stash
just waiting to brighten someone’s day.

I used my stamp set combined with some of the Chiswick inks to create this beautiful card.
My decorative elements include some enamel dots and a beautiful coloured cardstock feather that matches my background beautifully.

step 1 – Stamp your background image onto a white folded card front.
step1a
step 2 – Press your ink pads onto your craft sheet to transfer the ink onto the craft sheet. I used 4 different colours next to each other.
Mist the ink with water until the inks start to form little ink drops.
step2

step 3 – Press your stamped background into the wet ink repeatedly until it is covered.
Use your heat gun to dry the first layer of inking, then press your paper into the ink again to create a deeper darker shading of inking.
step3
Use your heat gun to dry the background.
Then add your decorative elements and finishing touches like sewing around the edges.
