Stenciled Christmas element using POP Paint.

Posted on 01 Dec 2017

I am always thinking of how I can utilize my stash to get more out of it. Today I am using a lily stencil to create a poinsettia Christmas element using POP Paint.
In a few easy steps you can create whatever you want by using what you’ve got.
My signal POP Paint was the perfect colour to use for my stenciling. It dries really quickly and applied thinly it gives a beautiful texture.

step 1 – Stencil the full image onto white cardstock. Cut out the image.

step 2 – Stencil a second image but only partially.

step 3 – layer the two images on top of each other and use a sewing machine to sew them together in the middle.
Add some graphite pencil details.

Add some Christmas themed embellishments and stamped images to the center of the stenciled poinsettia.

As an optional extra add a ribbon loop and use your elements as tree decor.

I absolutely love how POP paint is perfect for paper crafting. It makes for a spectacular addition to all my other products and things in my stash.

Have you created some special Christmas ornaments and decorative elements yet? Today is the perfect day to start.

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
