Stamped Gift wrap pinwheel.

Posted on 16 Nov 2015

Hi, hope everyone is well and being extra creative gearing up for the festive season.
I have been playing around with some creative gift wrapping ideas and since pinwheels are so popular I decided to make some of those too.
I came across this fun template to make some extra special pinwheels. Here’s how I made mine…
gift wrap pinwheel 1step 1 – Add some colour to a sheet of white cardstock using shades of green dye ink.
step 1
step 2 – Print the template directly onto your coloured cardstock piece, or trace and cut it out.
step 2
step 3 – Define the edges by using a sponge applicator and ink to darker the edges.
step 3
step 4 – Add some stamped images onto the one side of the pinwheel using the same green ink.
step 4
Step 5 – Assemble the pinwheel using a brad to hold it on place.
step 5
As an alternative try and combine a larger and a smaller pinwheel on top of each other for a layered look.

And here is the template that you can copy and use to create your very own festive pinwheels for your gift wrapping.
