Stamped gift bags.

Posted on 27 Oct 2015

With Christmas fast approaching I am getting a head start and making my own personalized gift bags this year!
I can make them in any colour using a base of kraft brown and adding colours like red, green, silver and gold for a unified theme and look.
gift bags 1I used a basic brown bag from a supply store and added my own stamped images using a variety of products.
step 1 – I started off using this stamp set from the Chiswick range to add clocks.
step 1Step 2 – I stamped the clocks in black dye ink in a random pattern across the bags – front and back.
step 2Step 3 – Then I added coloured stamping using red face paint and a foam stamp with some festive trees.
I over-stamped the images randomly for a fun look.
step 3A quick and easy idea to create your own gift wrapping this festive season.
And a great activity to get young and old involved in the preparations this year – get the kids to decorate their own bags.
gift bags 2Products used:
Face Paint 500ml – Redpa2253
Dye Ink Pad – Blackrs3300
Clear Stamp – Assorted Clocks (ER-D10)rs3177
Other: Christmas stamps, tree foam stamp, brown paper bags
I hope you are all geared up to making your own frugal gift wrapping this year!

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
