Painted Valentines day tag

Posted on 27 Jan 2017

Still need a few ideas for the month of love preparations? Well today I am sharing a quick tag for those little Valentines day gifts.
See how a little bit of paint can transform something plain into something fabulous.

The paint texture combined with ink and cardstock makes for a wonderfully visual feast.

step 1 – Take a plain white tag and spread some clear glue onto it.
Leave the glue to dry completely.
Then add a small amount of pop paint and spread the paint over the dry glue using your fingers.
The glue will form a resist against the paint and leave the white areas visible.

The paint spread out with your fingers gives added textures and an informal and uncomplicated look.

Use a floral background stamp and red dye ink and stamp the background of your tag. Leave the ink to dry.
Then add some die cut hearts with a brad to the front of your tag.
Stamp the true love wording from your Chiswick stamp set to complete your tag.

Attach the tag to a chocolate or little gift for your kids, friends or husband on valentines day.
A quick tag that says I love you in a creative way.

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
