Painted Easter egg hunt boxes.

Posted on 14 Apr 2017

It’s Easter weekend and we are having some down time, well if hunting for eggs can been counted as down time.
I needed some last minute Easter egg hunt ideas and needed to use whatever I had on hand.
Well lucky for me I had some egg boxes that could quickly be turned into something magical without breaking the bank.

step 1 – You need a few empty egg boxes or trays.

step 2 – Select your colour of POP Paint to use on your boxes.

step 3 – Paint the boxes in a layer or blue paint and leave to dry.
With all the amazing POP paint colours available you could create one in each colour.

TIP: A single layer was sufficient to cover the entire box including the printed areas.

step 4 – Fill the box with Easter eggs and yummy treats. Close the box and wrap it with a gorgeous ribbon and Easter related embellishments.

A perfect and earth friendly alternative to plastic and expensive wrapping options – recycled and re purposed with a lick of colour.

From all of us at the Chiswick blog – have a blessed Easter.

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
