Custom Stamped Picnic Cutlery holder.
Posted on 21 Sep 2015
Welcome to another Chiswick blog post. This week I had loads of fun creating some things for a special Spring Picnic.
I made this custom Cutlery holder using a recycled tin altered with some paint and stamps. I love fun little projects like this –
those special little details that anyone can make using your crafting goodies.
I again used my fabulous stamp set from Chiswick.
Step 1 – Stamp the spoon image on white cardstock. I stamped it twice to use more than one on my project.
Step 2 – Cut out the stamped images.
Step 3 – Add some colour detail. I used my dye ink pads and a water brush to add a light brown wash to the spoons.
Step 4 – Leave the images to dry. Fold the stamped spoons in half and adhere them to the tin using a liquid adhesive.
You can trim them shorter on the inside of the tin but i left them as is.
Decorate the tin with some ribbon.
And there you have a lovely recycled tin for your cutlery.
Perfect for a picnic or family braai this Heritage Day.
Perfect because you don’t have to use your good china outside – and this is totally
kid friendly for the little hands in the family.
