Christmas Eve paint activities | POP Paint.

Posted on 24 Dec 2016

On this beautiful cool Christmas Eve morning we took up the task of creating some art for Santa.
That was one way of keeping the kids busy and the adults sane and to get some last minute presents wrapped too.
So we had these fun canvasses for them to paint.

Jonathan did a great job in painting these canvasses one with a gorgeous Christmas tree and one with Santa and Rudolph.
Most importantly we got to use his favorite POP paint colours to create these masterpieces.

step 1 – Select your POP paint colours. We worked with Minted, Signal red and Latte.

step 2 – Add a vinyl image to canvas. You can use any design imaginable.

step 3 – Start painting over the vinyl image with your POP Paint. Let the kids paint any which way they want – this is their masterpiece.

step 4 – Once the paint is dry, carefully peel off the vinyl image from the canvas to reveal the original image.

step 5 – Jonathan painted a second Christmas tree like a true artist.

We needed a bit if a darker green and ended up using face paint as well as custom mix of Minted and Urban paint.
The end result was really interesting – the face paint lifted and peeled the POP Paint in places and created a really interesting tree.

Creating can be a wonderful journey and therapy making sense of things where life cannot, and I have tuned my life into this philosophy.
